MEGA PIXEL

MEGA PIXEL is the product of a year's worth of collaborative work between Ohio-based artists BJSR and Dave Zup. Their debut EP "Closer" was released on October 16th, 2016.  A fluid 4-track EP of new pop songs, "Closer" combines lyrical topics of social injustice, love and self-empowerment over lush arrangements and enveloping production. This (barely) 13 minute musical magnifying glass puts the listener in a distant groove, even if just for a moment, and reminds them of how powerful a good song can be for your soul.  The EP was produced, recorded, mixed, and mastered entirely by the three musicians independently in Dayton, OH, and exists without major label funding or promotion.  MEGA PIXEL is a collaborative effort to provoke “thought music" for the masses.

MEGA PIXEL was born out of a collaborative creative session between friends BJSR and Dave Zup.  The duo aims to deliver pop music with a message by using various skills of each individual. On October 16th, 2016, the band released their debut EP, "Closer" to all major digital retailers and streaming sites.
